REPORT RETURNS TONIGHT ON RAI3: HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT

Sigfrido Ranucci’s investigative journalism program Report is back on Rai3 tonight, Sunday, February 18, 2024. Here’s a preview of the topics and investigations at the center of tonight’s episode.

REPORT TONIGHT ON RAI3, THE INVESTIGATIONS OF FEBRUARY 18, 2024
On Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 8:55 pm, a new episode of Report, the investigative program presented by Sigfrido Ranucci on Rai3, will air. It promises to be an unmissable appointment with many new investigations. The first investigation of the evening is called “Do ut des,” curated by Danilo Procaccianti with the collaboration of Andrea Tornago. The investigation focuses on Inver, the consultancy firm of the Verdini family, founded among others by former senator Denis’ son, Tommaso Verdini, and the daughter Francesca, who is the partner of the Minister of Infrastructure, Matteo Salvini. Among the executives who have turned to Inver is also Omar Mandosi, head of human resources at the Stretto di Messina company, the concessionaire of the bridge over the Strait, the major work on which Minister Salvini has staked everything.

The second investigation is titled “The Enemy at Home”, curated by Emanuele Bellano with the collaboration of Chiara D’Ambros. The investigation focuses on wine production: in Italy, 200 million hectoliters of wine are produced each year. So far, so good, except that over the years, production has been moving away from the territory with a very serious consequence: the flavors of the wines are becoming standardized, thanks to the use of technologies made available by food chemistry. What is happening? Through unpublished documents and testimonies of people working in the wine sector, “Report” reconstructs mechanisms and specific cases of both large producers and companies.

REPORT, TONIGHT’S TOPICS: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2024
Tonight’s episode, Sunday, February 18, 2024, of Report continues with the investigation “White Cannon,” curated by Antonella Cignarale, with the collaboration of Paola Gottardi. Climate change and increasingly longer summers are making artificial snow necessary and essential to ensure the conduct of the winter season and to compete in a World Cup race.

A snow generator can produce in an hour the equivalent of 10 trucks full of snow, and there are also generators that can produce it at 15, 20 degrees. This is a fundamental piece for the operation of ski resorts, but also for winter tourism and the economy of mountain communities.

This and much more in tonight’s episode of Report on Rai3.
