GRANDE FRATELLO, LORENZO REVIEWS SHAILA’S DEPARTURE
Weeks after the Grande Fratello finale, Lorenzo Spolverato opened up about Shaila Gatta in an interview with Chi magazine. The former housemate reflected on the harsh words spoken by the ex-velina of Striscia La Notizia that ended their love story on national television. “I did not expect everything that happened. And I have a lot to say about it. Starting from the fact that the only things I know about that night are what I read in Shaila’s interview,” Lorenzo said. He added, “When I saw her enter the house, I was moved, but it wasn’t her, it was a mask, an armor, I had never seen her like that. I did not recognize her and I was petrified. I listened to her words, a kind of constructed monologue, without the possibility of asking her questions, of getting explanations about the accusations she was making. I felt everything as if I were underwater.”
After Shaila Gatta’s elimination from the Grande Fratello house, Lorenzo experienced moments of great difficulty and loneliness, to the point of always feeling her absence: “I couldn’t wait, regardless of how the finale would go, to see her again.” After Grande Fratello, despite the “No,” Lorenzo tried in every way to contact her for clarification.
LORENZO’S ATTEMPTS TO REACH OUT TO SHAILA
“I tried to call her, to write to her, but complete silence. And in the response, I also read a lot of rejection on her part. I do not want to belittle our relationship and even less her. For what there was, and what I would like to recover, I would like a confrontation. Perhaps we do not deserve it after six months locked in the house? It was a game, of course, but the feelings are real. And I am upset when I read those things,” Lorenzo said about Shaila Gatta after Grande Fratello. On the reasons for Shaila Gatta’s sudden change, Lorenzo said, “I do not judge, but I argue. Social media makes choices, almost never for the better. And so we are all portrayed badly in a poorly told story. Shaila is a victim of information or something she saw, but I know I could break down every accusation, piece by piece. I just need an opportunity.”
The model also addressed the ongoing doubts about his sexuality: “I am not bisexual, but if I had an experience with a man, there would be no problem in admitting it.” Finally, the last words are always for “his” Shaila: “She was and is a very important person in my life. I would like to tell her that she should listen to her heart and no one else. I still love her, I did not have the right ways, but she had grown fond of my mistakes too. And we were best friends. All her exes left, I did not, I am here, sorry and disappointed.”
