Mario Tozzi returns at the helm of Sapiens for the seventh season, which will address important themes, leading viewers to question the future of humanity. The host, a geologist and CNR senior researcher, will ask questions about nature, space, earth, and the future of Sapiens. Questions to which Mario Tozzi tries to provide investigational, clear, and simple answers, following an original and rigorous path that only a scientist can offer.
The appointment for the first episode of the new season of ‘Sapiens – Un Solo Pianeta’ is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, in prime time, at 9:45 pm on Rai3. As explained by Mario Tozzi in the program’s promo:
“La rivoluzione sociale e culturale portata dai Sapient ha modificato il mondo dei viventi. Ci ha portato a colonizzare territori che non ci appartenevano o che erano pericolosi per noi stessi a causa dei rischi naturali. Da lì abbiamo creato molta bellezza e ricchezza ma anche molto degrado e distruzione nel mondo naturale. Riusciremo a mantenere un equilibrio?”

The program is a production of Rai Cultura and in the first episode, a very important theme will be addressed: global warming. What are the consequences of rising sea levels?
