Pier Silvio Berlusconi ricorda Carlotta Dessì: un messaggio commovente

PREMATURE DISAPPEARANCE OF CARLOTTA DESSÌ LEAVES COLLEAGUES AND VIEWERS IN DEEP GRIEF

The recent passing of Mediaset journalist Carlotta Dessì has deeply saddened colleagues and viewers alike. Known for her professionalism and work on well-known programs, the 34-year-old woman had been battling a serious illness which ultimately led to her dependence on a wheelchair. In her final hours, those who knew her made sure to pay their respects and express their affectionate messages in her memory. Among them, Pier Silvio Berlusconi, the CEO of Mediaset, shared his touching words.

PIER SILVIO BERLUSCONI’S MESSAGE TO CARLOTTA DESSÌ: “IT WARMED MY HEART”

Pier Silvio Berlusconi, much like his father Silvio, has always insisted that Mediaset is first and foremost a big family. This means that not only the moments of joy but also those of sorrow belong to everyone.

This certainly holds true for the premature passing of journalist Carlotta Dessì, who was a correspondent for popular shows such as Pomeriggio 5 and Fuori dal coro.

In his message, Pier Silvio remembered her by saying, “The last time I said goodbye to Carlotta, I was immediately struck by her fantastic smile. It warmed my heart, and with just a few words, she conveyed to me her great courage and a sense of exemplary belonging to our Mediaset family. She had made every effort to attend our Christmas toast, despite her delicate health conditions.”

He continued, “I was struck by her strength and courage. In this time of great sorrow, I embrace her parents, her partner, and all her colleagues with a strong embrace. Carlotta, through the spirit with which she faced the pain, has given us a great lesson. She will forever be in our memories.” Pier Silvio’s last farewell was poignant: “Sweet Carlotta, I send you an infinite embrace with all my heart.”
